A PRESENCE BASED, MISSIONAL FELLOWSHIP
Presence Based Church - We meet together for the purpose of encountering the presence of the Lord. For it is only in His presence that we are transformed. (2 Corinthians 3:17-18).
We need more than well crafted and entertaining music with eloquent sermons. We need the presence of God in our churches.
Therefore, when we gather together, we want to encounter the Lord through our praise and worship, through communion, through fellowship, and through the Word.
Missional (A Kingdom Based Church) - We desire to see the Kingdom of God established and expanded on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). Therefore, we have commited ourselves to seek first His Kingdom (Matthew 7:33), and not seek our own little "kingdoms."
We equip our people to proclaim the Kingdom of God in their homes, their neighborhoods, and in the marketplace, thus fulfilling the great commandments (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8).
We also believe that fulfilling mercy ministries of caring for the poor, the widowed, and the orphaned is part of our Kingdom mandate.
Fellowship (A Family Based Church) - We are a fellowship who love one another and who are invested in one another's lives. In a society that promotes isolationism and individualism, we believe that the Christian walk is meant to be done in community.
The early church created a close, loving community for believers to be part of. (Acts 2:42-47; 4:32-35; Hebrews 10:23-25) There should be no difference today.
This is more than just gathering together on a Sunday morning. This is about being a fellowship of believers who daily follow the Lord together and who genuinely care for one another.
A Word Based Church- We believe that the Bible is the infallible, and inerrant Word of God. Thus, we ground all that we do and believe in the Word.
