Pastor Joseph Tillman and his family.
Joseph is the founding pastor of New Life. He and his wife, Melanie, have been married seven years, and have two children, Luke and Haley.
Though only 32, Joseph has been in full-time ministry for ten years. He has served as an intern at the Wesley Foundation at UGA, traveled with Rev. Rick Bonfim throughout Brazil and America, and worked as a youth pastor all prior to planting New Life here in Newnan. He also currently serves on the leadership team of Vanguard Network International. He holds a Masters of Divinity from Candler School of Theology, and longs to be one who worships in Spirit and Truth.
Joseph desires to see men and women view God rightly and in turn view themselves as God sees them. He believes that these two realities will cause their hearts to be filled with an intimate, passionate, holy, and violent love for God that will lead them to love their neighbors in a way that is completely beyond their own ability. And in love, they will proclaim with boldness the gospel of Christ and the kingdom of God with a demonstration of power.
He also loves to spend time with his wife and children, coach soccer, play guitar, and root for the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves.
